Help Us Build Our Webzine

cartoon dog in flowersIf there’s one thing I know for sure it’s that dogs love to socialize. My boys look for every opportunity to say hi to their canine and human friends and neighbors as we walk down the street. We live in a pet-friendly community so we always find a wagging tail, a cold nose, and a friendly pet parent when we’re out on our walks.

My neighbors and I frequently share tips on new walking paths we discover, and new dog-friendly parks and meet-ups in our neighborhood. It was during one of these talks that the idea was born to build an webzine that caters to busy people who share their lives with dogs.

We wanted to offer articles, resources, and products to help dog parents create a deeper relationship with their dog while finding balance in their busy lives. We decided to focus on creating outdoor adventures that dogs and their people can enjoy together to deepen the bond they already share.

Having 2 of my own I can vouch for the fact that my dogs are largely responsible for the smile on my face when I wake up in the morning. They’re responsible for my strict exercise protocol that I can never miss, and for many, if not most, of the friendships I have developed over the years by simply walking down the street with my pups by my side.

This webzine is a work in process. Over the next few weeks we’ll be adding the following features:

  • Articles and resources related to the outdoor dog, i.e., how to stop your dog from pulling you down the street
  • Community interaction, including the ability to comment and share
  • Lists of off-leash dog parks and hiking trails throughout the Northeast so dog parents can turn ordinary dog walks into adventure walks
  • Important and timely industry news from around the globe, updated daily
  • An online shop filled with our hand-picked collection of the best dog walking gear

What else would you like to see as we build our webzine?

Your dog is a family member and should be part of your daily routine, so instead of having to rush home to walk the dog we’ll show you how to incorporate those walks into your busy day. Exercise, fresh air, and spending more time outdoors with your pup will deepen the bond you share and will benefit both of you. And that’s our goal.
