Go Murphy Go! Murphy’s Winning the Fight!

Murphy is doing so well! We’re down to a system although I remain aware that the system can change at any time. Murphy is eating most of his meals on his own, and every evening I syringe-feed him his holistic supplement cocktail. I vary the time of the feeding and the amount of each ingredient so he doesn’t get used to a specific amount at a specific time. That gives me a little leeway, because perfection is a tough taskmaster! Continue reading

First Symptoms

Murphy, 15-1/2 years old!

One day he was fine and the next day he wasn’t. That’s how fast it happened. One day he’s my adorable, energetic 15-1/2 year old boy, always happy, always ready for a treat, always licking the bowl clean, and the next day, like a light switch, he’s not eating anything, not even his favorite treats.
